My editor hadn't told me that the books were on their way, so it was a wonderful surprise to discover that the box contained the first finished copies of The Heart at War. Here's a closer look:
The publication date is May 26th, so it's hardly any time before these will be on shelves. Meanwhile, the first thing I did, after admiring the beautiful cover design Penguin Random House have made, was put the first copy of the book on my shelf next to The Eyes of a King and Voices in the Dark, in the space that has been waiting for it a very long time...
